The Mobile World Star Awards & Gala Dinner was graced by Y.B. Deputy Minister of Information, Communication and Culture, Datuk Joseph Salang Gandum. This glittering event was held to recognise and celebrate outstanding achievements, contributions and innovations in the mobile industry. The celebratory dinner was attended by the movers and shakers of the mobile industry on October 23, 2009 at Hotel Istana, Kuala Lumpur. 

To get everyone into the right mood, invitees were treated to performances by Reshmonu, Altimet and Elvira. The other highlight was the premiere of the GoMobile Fashion Show which featured the dazzling creations of students from Raffles International College.  

The evening also saw three different categories of awards handed out to winners.

 

inOvation Malaysia 2009 Recipients

With the national focus on creating innovative local content, applications and services, the inOvation Malaysia Awards placed the limelight on successful Malaysian companies. These awards were supported by Maxis.

The in-Ovations awards celebrated and recognised five outstanding Malaysian mobile developers who have best contributed towards the development and innovation of content and application in Malaysia.

Asia Pacific Mobile Learning & Edutainment Advisory Panel (APACMLEAP) Mobile Learning Initiatives Recognition 2009
